(Palm Beach Gardens, FL – September 4, 2014) Charlotte Laurent-Ottomane, Executive Director of The Palm Beach Pops, today announced that the 2014/15 season tickets are now on sale and available to the general public. Led by the award winning Music Director/Principal Conductor and Pianist Lee Musiker, the season kicks off with a “Holiday Spectacular Concert”to celebrate the season with holiday favorites for all faiths and for the entire family, featuring special guests, the 10-time Grammy award winning vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer.
In January 2015, Frank Sinatra Jr. pays homage to his father’s 100 years with “Sinatra Sings Sinatra”, singing the classic songs with the original musical arrangements that define the Sinatra legend.
And in March 2015, The Palm Beach Pops will perform “One Singular Sensation: A Tribute to the Music of Marvin Hamlisch”, starring Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie, the original Casse in A Chorus Line; Tony Award nominee Jodi Benson, the voice of The Little Mermaid; and Doug LaBrecque (Phantom of the Opera).
“We think this upcoming season is a wonderful way to continue the late Maestro’s legacy. We are proud to continue to be part of the Palm Beach County cultural landscape,” said Jon Lappin, President of The Palm Beach Pops.
